Join Chris Burkhart, owner and director of BC, for this empowering session!
With nearly 30 years of educational experience, Chris will guide you step by step on how to be your child’s voice and work collaboratively with their IEP/504 team. Having served on both sides of the table, Chris is passionate about bringing everyone together with one shared goal: ensuring each child feels safe, supported, and has full access to learning in their educational environment. You’ll leave this workshop better prepared for meetings, understanding your rights, and gaining practical strategies to advocate for your child using a collaborative, team-centered approach.

Social/Emotional Teacher Coaching at the Farm

This free program is open to teachers of all grade levels and subject areas, PK–12th grade, who want to strengthen their classroom practices and support every learner. Over the course of 6 weeks, you’ll work alongside our experienced staff during social group sessions, gaining practical tools to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll learn strategies for using intentional language, planning, positive feedback, and coaching techniques to help both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners communicate, engage, and regulate—skills that set them up for success in any environment.
- Price: FREE for teachers of all grade levels
- The program requires a 6-week commitment of one day or evening per week (baed on your grade level andavailability) and begins in September, aligning with the start of our social skills groups
- After the initial 6 weeks, you’re welcome to continue as long as you’d like!

Summer 26' Teacher Cohort

Are you a PK–12 teacher interested in strengthening your ability to teach and coach neurodivergent learners? This free 2-6 week summer intensive offers both knowledge and hands-on experience to help you enter the new school year with confidence. You’ll focus on building skills in communication, regulation, and engagement—while working alongside veteran teachers and professionals. The program begins with a one-hour introductory group session led by Chris, followed by weekly work with your assigned age group during camp, where you’ll receive direct coaching and support. At the end of the program, you’ll also receive a one-on-one follow-up session to help you plan for the upcoming year. While this is an unpaid opportunity, the value you’ll gain is immeasurable.
