Classes: There will be 1 middle/high school class at the farm . Minimum of 5 teens, Max of 10.

TEENAGERS! This camp is all about leadership opportunities to grow physically, socially/emotionally, and cognitively! Our teens nowadays have so much to process and filter, we want this time at our farm to allow them to unplug, take deep breaths, and worry less! So much to worry about as a teen- but here teens will flourish with opportunities to be creative, think and talk with others, learn and experiment with nature, play games, as well as have animal time to help them understand not only others, but themselves! The questions  of “who am I? And how do I belong/fit in?” swirl in the brains of our teens daily. We want to encourage teens to learn and understand themselves, as well as others- learning how to effectively communicate and collaborate with others, as well as advocate for themselves! We want to take the strengths each teen brings and help them find ways to showcase that! Projects, structuring and engaging in Me/We times, and time spent in nature allow teens to do this!

One week last year, our teens decided to plan, create and do a Farm Animal Fashion Show! All led by teens! They learned to work individually, practice hard things, listen to others, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively! Another week, teens built a bridge down by our creek and the next week teens designed and built our circle of peace in the carpool loop! Each week is unique depending on the needs and interests of the individuals, but all practice communication, engagement, advocacy, personal space, perspective sharing, empathy, and so much more!

Teens will bring a snack/lunch/water bottle! This is up to them! Teens should know how much their body needs to consume in a day, and if not always pack more, we can work on that! We allow teens to eat/drink whenever their body needs it and we work on noticing how/when our bodies let us know!

We will notify you if we have any particular special snacks/treats!

Cost: $850
35 hours= $24.28 hr, $170/day! And for your peace of mind that your child is receiving quality care and instruction and not calling you letting you know your child is in trouble! We handle all of it here as we know behavior is communication and they are learning! So we are here to teach, support, love and coach as they learn!
